Mock Recalls

Mock recall events are a “best practice” for manufacturers, and the FDA suggests 2-4 Mock Recalls per year. They play an important preparatory role in a company”s normal recall program, and also make conducting a live recall much more time efficient when the need arises.

Because of many different types of manufacturing processes, it is safe to say that there are almost as many recall programs as there are manufacturers. The Recall InfoLink Mock Recall process allows for company differences while guiding companies through the right preparation steps.

Recall InfoLink’s patent pending process helps a manufacturer create a stronger recall program by using the Step-by-Step Checklist and the Mock Recall Wizard. Practicing the collecting and dissemination of recall item and distribution data prepares the manufacturer to complete these activities much more easily during the pressure of a live recall event.
