Recall process management: Recall InfoLink understands that in a time of crisis such as a product recall,
companies need a fast, reliable recall system that is simple and intuitive to use, and gets the job done.
Recall InfoLink provides an easy-to-use, web-based system for creating comprehensive recall notification with all essential
recall items information, verification by your customers, and of course proper documentation of recall actions.
Using an intuitive recall "Wizard," clients are quickly guided step-by-step through the particular actions they need
to take whether they are "starting" a recall, receiving notification and "continuing" the recall to additional consignees,
or simply "verifying" a response to their supplier to receive product credit.
This "smart" system provides useful tips, error correction, and time-saving steps that simplify and standardize
the process from origination to completion, thus saving companies time and money while they
protect their company, their brand, their trading partners, and the public.
- Origination: Create comprehensive recall communications with product & disposition documents to all trading partners, internal contacts, and even regulatory agencies if required. Automatically notify customers included in the distribution list, and track inventory impacted by the recall with a real time ScoreCard and Reports.
- Continuation: Receive standardized recall notification with supporting documentation and instructions. Verify recall completion back to supplier, and continue customized message to additional trading partners who need recall information and directions.
- Verification: Receive customized recall notification and directions. Verify recall completion back to the supplier, and report to regulatory agencies with auto-generated reports as needed.
- Expansion: The fact-finding that develops over time may require that the products involved in a recall be expanded beyond the initial list, or that the recalled item(s) need to be sent to more customers than originally thought. Recall expansion is simple with a click of a button, input of additional data, and the same automated management process. Reporting on recall expansions can be done separately as different events or as one master event with individual parts.
- Mock Recalls: Insure that systems and processes for conducting a recall are adequately prepared. Mock recall events are a "best practice" for manufacturers that the FDA recommends and many Retailers now require from their suppliers. Because of many different types of manufacturing processes, it is safe to say that there are almost as many recall programs as there are manufacturers. The Mock Recall process allows for company differences while guiding companies through the right preparation steps using the Recall Wizard and best-practice guidelines.
- Support: On-line and call center support is available "24/7" to clients using Recall InfoLink's system.
- Recall Process Follow-Up: Even with the best system and customer information, some customers may get missed or not respond during a recall event. Using auto-generated system Reports that show customer contact confirmation, we can follow-up with un-reached customers or with customers who have been notified, but have failed to respond with their actions taken.
- Cost Effective: Receiving notification AND responding both are free to your customers. The 'one-time' Licensing is inexpensive (see License Agreement and Cost breakdown), and there are no ongoing fees for maintenance, updates or yearly fees.
