People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The select 7-ELEVEN FRESH TO GO Cookies were distributed to 7-Eleven convenience stores in the state of Florida.

The affected cookies are packed in a clear package film, 2 cookies per package, labeled “Fresh To Go” and have “best buy” date codes Friday, 04/22/16, Saturday, 04/23/16, Sunday, 04/24/16 on the front label.

  • 32 fluid ounce “Supreme Elixir” drink
  • 32 fluid ounce “Kid’s Juice” drink
  • 1 pound and 8 ounce “Xtreme Fiber Detox”

The recall was initiated because the products contain undeclared whey protein, which contains the allergens of milk and soy lecithin. People who have allergies to milk and soy lecithin run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The above mentioned products were distributed nationwide through mail orders.

  • “Supreme Elixir” comes in 32 fluid ounce white HOPE bottles marked with lots #15094, 15258, 15310, 15483, 16053 and 16091 stamped on the bottom of the bottle.
  • “Kid’s Juice” comes in 32 fluid ounce white HDPE bottles marked with lots #15104 and 15326 stamped on the bottom of the bottle.
  • “Xtreme Fiber Detox” comes in two presentations of 8 ounces and 1 pound, white HDPE container marked with lots #15174, 15372, 15423, 15538 and 16051 stamped on the bottom of the container.

Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie stores, is voluntarily recalling its 32 ounce Bakery Crème Cakes and 14 ounce Bakery Sliced Crème Cakes, because the products may contain undeclared peanuts.

The 32 ounce Bakery Crème Cakes and 14 ounce Bakery Sliced Crème Cakes were distributed through all BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie stores throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina in all counties.

The products were sold between April 11, 2016 and April 26, 2016, with UPC codes of 205509000005, 205510000001, 205473000001, 205508000006, 205476000008, 205506000008, 205474000000 and 269740000002.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie stores have received no reports of illness from customers associated with consumption of this product and all affected product in the stores has been discarded. (more…)

Description

This recall involves Eclipse S11i and Verge S11i, X10, X20 and X30h models of Tern brand folding bikes. The 24-inch wheel Eclipse model was sold in a silver/black color combination. The 20-inch wheel Verge models were sold in silver/black, orange/white, red/black and yellow/grey color combinations. “Tern” is printed on the front end of the top tube and on portion of the frame. The model name is printed on the middle of the top tube. The frame has a 10-character alphanumeric serial number that begins with AM1A or from AM1102 through AM1208. The serial number is stamped on the bottom bracket shell of the bike.

Incidents/Injuries

Stile Products has received four reports of incidents of the frame hinge cracking, resulting in minor scrapes, bruises and one sprained shoulder. (more…)

Description

This recall involves Ryobi 40-Volt Brushless Snow Blowers. Item number RY40802 is printed on the data label on the back of the blowers. The snow blowers are black and green with two LED lights located on the front of the unit and are approximately 22 inches wide by 43 inches tall. “RYOBI” is printed on the front of the snow blowers. The models included in this recall are RY40802, RY40802A and RY40822. The model numbers are printed on the packaging. “40 V” is printed on each side of the snow blowers.

Incidents/Injuries

One World has received two reports of snow blowers overheating during or immediately after use. Of the two reports, one consumer reported seeing flames which were immediately extinguished. No injuries or property damage have been reported. (more…)

This recall involves Snap-on ratcheting tie downs sold in a package of four. The 15 foot long tie downs are straps used to secure heavy items or oversize loads to trailers, trucks and hand trolleys.  The product’s ratchet mechanism is black and the straps are yellow with “Snap-On” printed in red across the strap. Product number 871343S is printed on the upper right corner of the packaging. Recalled units have at least one silver metal tab that is flush with the openings in the black metal ratchet handle.

Incidents/Injuries

The firm has received one report of the ratchet handle failing, resulting in the loss of a heavy load from the bed of a pickup truck. No injuries have been reported. (more…)

WASHINGTON, April 26, 2016 – Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., a Waco, Texas establishment, is recalling approximately 4,568,080 pounds of fully cooked chicken products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, including plastic, wood, rubber, and metal, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

On April 7, 2016, Pilgrim’s Pride Corp recalled approximately 40,780 pounds of fully cooked chicken nuggets produced on Oct. 5, 2015. The following product is subject to recall:

  • 20-lb. cardboard boxes containing two, 10-lb. clear plastic bags of fully cooked chicken nuggets labeled as “GOLD KIST FARMS Fully Cooked Whole Grain Popcorn Style Chicken Patty Fritters” with package codes 5278105021, 5278105022, 5278105023, 5278105000, and 5278105001.

The products subject to recall bears establishment number “EST. 20728” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped for institutional use nationwide. According to Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. records, schools have purchased products through the company’s commercial channels.

The problem was first discovered after the firm received several consumer complaints regarding plastic contamination of the chicken nuggets. The firm notified FSIS personnel of the issue on April 6, 2016. FSIS personnel identified more affected product types and dates of production after investigating additional consumer complaints of foreign material contamination received by the recalling firm.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider. (more…)
