FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 28 December 2016 – Longmont, Colorado, Huvepharma, Inc., which recently acquired the Longmont Colorado manufacturing facility including the respective FDA registration associated with this recall, is voluntarily recalling 1 lot of Duramycin-10 Soluble Powder, distributed by Durvet, to the consumer level. The product had a stability failure at the 48 month time point. Risk Statement: The product does not have the potential to result in a health risk to any animals that are indicated for use.

To date, Huvepharma, Inc., Durvet, and the previous FDA registration for this product owner, have not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall. (more…)

Description:

This recall involves Joyrider three-wheeled scooters for children. They have a low, foot-gripping deck, multicolored handgrips, and an adjustable metal T-bar handle. The scooters are made of metal and plastic and come in a variety of colors. The tracking label sticker can be found on the back of the scooter, with batch PO number of G20140423. Recalled model numbers are: GT5048R, GT5110R, GT5121R, GT5124R, GT5125R, GT5122R, GT5117R, GT5123R.  Model numbers can be found on the bottom of the scooter base, on the receipt and on the packaging.

Incidents/Injuries:

GLOPO has received one report of the front wheels detaching from the scooter, resulting in an injury to a child who fell off the scooter. (more…)

This recall involves model year 2014 through 2016 Sportsman 570 Touring and X2 model ATVs and model year 2017 Sportsman 570 6×6 model ATVs. The recalled ATVs have one or two seats with four or six tires. “Sportsman” and the model type are printed on the side of the steering column and “Polaris” is printed near the front grill. The ATVs were sold in several colors. The vehicle identification numbers (VIN) are printed on the front or rear frame near the back tire. Recalled VIN numbers are at www.polaris.com.

OAK BROOK, Ill. (December 27, 2016) – TreeHouse Foods, Inc. (NYSE: THS) today announced an amendment to the Best By Dates in its December 11, 2016, press release related to its voluntary recall of certain macaroni and cheese cup products.  The products contain cheddar cheese seasoning which may be contaminated with Salmonella.

This follows notification from our supplier that the milk powder used in the seasoning has the potential for Salmonella contamination.

Salmonella is a bacterium that can cause diarrhea, fever and abdominal cramps. Most individuals recover without treatment. In some cases, diarrhea may be so severe that the patient needs to be hospitalized. The elderly, infants and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness.

Product was distributed nationwide through retail stores.  The following products are affected by this recall:

Farm To Market Foods of Santo, Texas is recalling 26,506 pounds of Green Bean Casserole, because it may contain undeclared Peanut Allergens. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Peanut Allergens run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Green Bean Casserole was distributed in Texas at retail grocery stores of Brookshire and sold as 32 oz. retail trays and were included with Holiday Smoked Turkey and Ham Dinner Kits at the retail Deli Departments.

The product can be identified in a 32 oz. plastic black tray with a clear type lid with the FARM TO MARKET FOODS LOGO label with the name Green Bean Casserole with the following expiration dates:

01/05/2017, 01/06/2017, 01/08/2017, 01/15/2017, 01/17, 2017, 01/26/2017, 01/30/2017, and 02/17/2017.

The Green Bean Casserole was also sold in bulk at the retail Deli Departments in disposable “to go containers.” The purchase dates would be any product after November 7, 2016.

The XP model has power steering. They were sold in green, red, camouflage and black colors.

This recall involves Tea Collection Inc. children’s knit blue denim jackets with metal buttons and snaps. A tag sewn inside the neck reads “Tea.” Style number 6F22400-405 is printed on a hangtag attached to the garment. The jackets were sold in sizes XS to XL (sizes 2 through 12).

Incidents/Injuries:

WASHINGTON, Dec. 23, 2016 – Gold Medal Packing Inc., a Rome, N.Y. establishment, is recalling approximately 4,607 pounds of boneless veal products that may be contaminated with E. coli O26 and O45, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

The veal trim and top bottom sirloin (TBS) products were produced and packaged on August 16, 2016, and October 25, 2016. The following products are subject to recall: [View Label (PDF only)]

  • 60-lb. boxes containing “BONELESS VEAL”.
  • 2,387-lb. bin containing “TBS”.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 17965” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The “BONELESS VEAL” items were shipped to a warehouse in California and the “TBS” items were shipped to distributor locations in Pennsylvania.

The problem was discovered during routine sample testing. There have been no confirmed reports of illness or adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. (more…)

WASHINGTON, Dec. 23, 2016 – Texas Best Proteins (Farm to Market Foods), a Santo, Texas establishment, is recalling approximately 25,332 pounds of Cajun Style Dirty Rice containing chicken products and Turkey Cajun Dinner Kits containing Dirty Rice due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product may contain peanuts, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

The Farm to Market Foods Cajun Style Dirty Rice and Turkey Dinner Kits were packaged on 10/27/2016, 11/1/2016, and 11/11/2016. The following products are subject to recall: [View labels (PDF only)]

  • 32 ounce trays of Cajun Style Dirty Rice with use/sell by dates of 1/15/2017, 1/17/2017 and 1/30/2017.  The case code is 1982.
  • 32 ounce trays of Cajun Style Dirty Rice within the boxes of Cajun Turkey Dinner kits with use/sell by dates of 1/15/2017, 1/17/2017 and 1/30/2017.  The case code is 1976.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 950” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were shipped to retail locations in Texas.

The problem was discovered on Dec. 22, 2016, when the firm was notified by their supplier that the Worcestershire sauce used in the rice product was being recalled because the sauce may contain peanut. The establishment determined the scope of the recall by tracing the use of the recalled Worcestershire back to the October and November production dates.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider. (more…)
