In 2008, Roger Hancock left his role as the Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Albertsons to start Recall InfoLink. Roger combined his nearly 20 years of experience in Food Safety and Quality Assurance to create a platform that optimizes organizations' efficiency at recalling products.
Recall InfoLink understands both the importance of executing recalls in a timely manner, as well as the burden it places on organizations. Warning customers of products that may be below standards or contaminated can save lives. Dozens of people die each year from not receiving notice of a recall in time. Many of these tragic results could be prevented if communication latency in the supply chain was reduced and products were tracked more effectively. Meet the Team
Roger Hancock, Founder & CEO
As the CEO of Recall InfoLink, Roger brings a wealth of experience to the team. Before founding Recall InfoLink, Roger spent over 16 years at Albertsons as the Director of Food Safety and QA. During his tenure at Albertsons, Roger directed 250 recalls a year and played a critical role in the company's adoption of new technologies to improve the recall process.
Roger currently resides in Boise, Idaho with his wife. They have four grown children leading vibrant lives. Roger holds a B.S. in Human Development from the University of California and an MPH in Public Health Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jacque Istok, CTO
Jacque brings over 20 years of software development and application architecture experience to the Recall InfoLink team. Jacque has had a distinguished career that has included building and distributing scalable data solutions at companies including: Texas Instruments, Nortel, Safeway, Dantis, EMC, and Greenplum - which was acquired by EMC in 2010. Jacque currently serves as a Field CTO at Pivotal, with a specialization in data engineering.
Jacque currently resides in Boise, Idaho when not visiting with customers and colleagues around the world. Jacque is an alumni of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and applies his pursuits of both Computer Science and Philosophy in everything he does.
Ike Sweesy, Senior VP of Operations
As the SVP of Operations, Ike brings almost 25 years of experience in all facets of business to the Recall InfoLink team. Ike's experience in executive operations roles spans numerous industries including: payroll services, construction, manufacturing, film and advertising, and aviation. Ike is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he led 34 combat missions in Vietnam and Kuwait and earned numerous medals including the Distinguished Flying Cross over his 21 year career.
Ike currently resides in Boise, Idaho with his wife. He has five active, grown children. Ike holds a B.S. in Physical Geography from the United States Air Force Academy.
